Buffalo Horn Pen Blank - Dark

I had never seen buffalo horn before, so I was quite thrilled to see the deep dark color, the density of it, the patterns/grain, and the overall feel of it. It excellent for making elegant pens.
I was a bit disappointed that one of the blanks was cracked, but after doing some internet searching, it was evident that buffalo horn tends to do that; its just the nature of the material. It warps with changes of humidity. You can always work around the crack (quite small).
