Brass tube size?

Instructions for this kit indicate 10.5mm drill bit should be used. Diameter of the hole I drilled with a brand new 10.5mm drill bit is TOO SMALL for the brass tube to slide into the hole! It would seem the brass tubes in this kit are not correctly sized. Buyer beware! I would have called Crooked Mill to discuss, but there isn't even a phone number listed on the website. Cuts down on complaints, eh?
